After sharing my favorite festival finds from Lulus I wanted to partner with them to share some vacation outfit inspo as well! I wore this look this past weekend at our Homeaway in Palm Springs. We were celebrating my friends bachelorette (I’ll have a recap soon) and it was perfect to hang out in a ll day. This suit is by one of my favorite swimsuit brands, Kaohs. I have several of their swimmies and love their simple, structured styles….
This was one of my Coachella outfits that didn’t quite make the cut. Not because it wasn’t worthy, mainly just because of the extreme heat. But it would be perfcetttttt for Outsidelands or ACL when the weather is a little breezier. I wanted something with sparkle and came across this perfect little pink number at French Connection. I loved the thought of wearing something very girly and glamorous in the desert….

Since living in LA I’ve acquired wayyyy more swimsuits than I ever have before. Why? The obvious answer is our constant perfect weather but the other is that they can so easily double as a full on outfit. Another version of a bodysuit or crop top if you will. RVCA is the perfect example of this. Their retro take on their suits make it sooo easy to throw on jean shorts for drinks after the beach….

Just because the festival was cancelled didn’t mean I couldn’t rock my festival looks in Miami; they’re perfect for the heat too. I’m in love with this army green romper from Lulus. Simple, sexy, and so comfy. I love something that isn’t too busy and I can still accessorize. To me the styling and everything is really what makes a festival outfit. Especially because it’s an occasion you can go bigger and bolder, while also smaller and skimpier (lol). …
The first few days of our Miami Trip were spent at the dreamy Shore Club in Miami Beach. When you’re used to piling 15 people into a hotel room or shacking on one of your friends couches all weekend a hotel for two is a dream in itself. But add the pools, beach access, decor, location, everythingggggg, it’s a real vacation. I’m sorry but when you live in California and don’t have pool access this shit is a TREAT….
I wanted to share some content I created for Ettika with you all! A) because I like the pics and B) because I like the jewelry. I worked with them on a blog post (here) and after that they hired me on for freelance content creation. This is another kind of styling job that I’m dabbling in and a good way to practice styling for other peoples aesthetic and audience….

If you caught this post then you know Payton and I are headed to Miami tomorrow. We were supposed to be going to Fyre Festival in the Bahamas from there but considering things fell apart we’re skipping out on that and extending our Miami trip. If you haven’t heard this was the first year for Fyre and when people started to show up to the first weekend nothing was as promised….

Guys… you have no idea how many years I’ve been trying to go to Coachella. I know since at least my freshman year of college. I’ve had a ticket on two different occasions but no one that could go. My dad even had one of his employees buy me a shirt when he found out they were going (so cute). And then last year it was during my trip to Nevis. …

A little Wolven Threads action at The Ace Hotel pool last weekend in Palm Springs. Isn’t that backdrop unreal? It looks fake. I’m constantly in awe there. And it’s only appropriate I’d be wearing a design inspired by our beauuuuutiful mother nature in front of it. Plus the swimsuit itself is made of recycled plastic which brings the whole thing full circle. Keeping our world beautiful while making pretty pieces inspired by it. …
Life itself is crazy and sooo fast paced but if you work for yourself you know that any minute you aren’t working, or being somewhat productive, you feel is being wasted. In a few months it’ll be a year since I quit my job and became my own boss. I’ve learned soooo much during this time but I’ve found the most difficult part for me (other than the drastic change in my income) has been allowing myself to stop and enjoy lifes little moments….
