If you haven’t noticed sheer lace is very in, but this trend also comes with the issue of “how do I wear it without looking tacky” or worrying about looking too “easy”… But fear no more! The key to avoiding these stereotypes is to not commit to the look. First, add accesories to the outfit that are “you.” For me, that is Birkenstocks– a casual shoe mixed with a not so casual fabric….
I don’t know about you guys but San Francisco is one of my favorite cities in the world. I love the people, the atmosphere, the food, the good vibes, and the weather. Obviously North California is a little chillier than some people prefer but since I love layering it’s perfect to me, plus the views make up for anything I could ever complain about. That being said, when I heard about a musical festival that went on in Golden Gate Park I had to experience it for myself….
One of the reasons I’m loving dresses lately is because of how easy they are to throw on and run out the door, but I also love how versatile they are. I love anything that can be dressed up for a night out or paired with flats and a denim chambray for daytime. This striped button-front dress is both of these things which is probably why I’ve already worn it twice and my roommates have already asked to borrow it….
I’ve been loving dresses lately but I still don’t like feeling too girly so I love how Urban Outfitters took this old men’s oxford and turned it into a short sleeveless dress, it’s got me feelin very Risky Business. Shop the look below. XOXO
I’ve been wanting one of these Stone Cold Fox Holy Tubes for awhile now but being me, I couldn’t pay that much for something that everybody already had. So, last week I lucked into one of their sales and snagged this fun tribal print they have a limited supply on! I paired it with some leather shorts and knee high gladiators to give it a different look. What do you guys think?…
I’ve been wanting the Stuart Weitzman knee high gladiators ever since I saw them at Nordstrom last year but I just haven’t been able to bite the bullet and splurge for a trendy shoe, especially since I’m 23 and should be saving my money (that was for you dad). So when I saw Missguided was offering them for basically just the tax on the other ones I had to get my hands on them right away….
Here’s the last outfit from my family trip to the Bahamas. These were taken throughout our day in “town” or as it would be better understood, a restaurant and two shops. I loved how remote the island was because we socialized with the locals when we went out and were forced to eat and drink their cuisne (besides the lunch and dinner me made pizza. Whoops.). BUT i would like to let it be know that I did not mind this but was just made very aware from my picky mother and sister (we have to limit to where we travel to so they don’t starve)….
Quick outfit post from the Tootsies Top Bloggers event last night. It was a fun night filled with a fashion show, shopping, drinks, cupcakes, and friends. I also got to chat it up with Courtney Kerr for a little bit. Happy Friday XOXO
Like I said before, the hotter it is the less clothes you’ll find me in. My only dilemma is that I like to layer clothing so I often feel like my summer outfits can steer toward being less interesting than in other seasons. In the winter and fall months I’m able to throw on a bunch of extra clothes and call it an outfit (even if I do look homeless to some)….
