This was my look for Day 2 which involved backstage at Jeremy Scott. I knew my look needed to be eccentric and over the top so I went for the loudest thing I brought. This amazinggggg purple sequin dress. Which by the way is by the same brand as this dress and this top. It’s ever so appropriately called Mad But Magic and I don’t think I have to tell you guys how obsessed I am with them considering I’ve posted 3 of their pieces in the last month. I couldn’t pick just one.
Anyway I was obviously super low key backstage and drew zero attention to myself…. If anyones every been back of house at a show you know how pushy they get, especially when Gigi and Elsa are in the building. Needless to say I got kicked out after a good 45 minute stint but it was successful none-the-less. I was there with CND covering the amazing nails they did for the show and therefore had the best excuse to get up close and personal with some of my favorite models. It was part of my job so it was acceptable 🙂 Stay tuned for those pics and vids in my Fashion Week recap and video diary coming soon. Oh and did I mention I was able to sit front of house for the show with my backstage pass? Finagling my way into things is a true talent of mine. It was a magical experience and definitely the highlight of this fashion week. There’s always at least one show every season that blows my mind I’m at and even though I may have technically snuck into the actual show this time, this was for sure mine.
And I have to thank Ammika Salon in Brooklyn for hooking up the hair earlier that day because I truly feel like it made the outfit. it. I was obsessed with my hair that day. So much so that I pushed the hair appointment back I had the next day so I could wear it for the morning shows. I’m so lazy when it comes to doing my hair but seeing how bug if a difference it makes it makes me want to commit more time to it. We’ll see… Shop below. XOXO
