I have to say this was my most mellow fashion week so far. Idk if it was because of the rain, the fact that I had a very crippled Moo with me, or that I finally learned how to manage my time and prioritize but it was a very different pace. I normally end the week with at least one panic attack and sleep for days when I get home but neither of those things happened….
Revolve had one of their infamous #revolvearoundtheworld trips in LA and little old me got invited. I was only able to go to a couple days of events because I was meeting my parents in San Fran and then heading to Napa for my cousins bachelorette. But I brought the rest of my clothes to wear the rest of the week so in many ways it was my own (very prestigious) Revolve Around The World… any who wanted to put together all my looks in a little post for you all to shop. …
I get so many questions about Vintage/thrift shopping that I figured I would round up my FAQ’s in a post!
First thing’s first don’t get overwhelmed, I feel like this is why people avoid thrift shopping in the first place but my advice for this is to go in knowing you’re going to sift through a bunch of shit. Basically get your mind right. Get a fat coffee if you have to….
Since I’m getting sporty with Urban (my go-to for everything but especiallllly athleisure wear) I thought this would be the perfect time to share my workout regime with you all! This isn’t something I normally would think you guys would care to know but I’ve had lots of questions so I figured it was worth a post. First off I run a lot. Thats kind of my constant workout. I wasn’t always a runner and have a lot of advice on how to get into it so let me know if you all care to know….
A couple days after we got back from NYCPayton and I road tripped to the desert with Mina, Lexi, Allysa, and Jami to partner with Bric’s and stay at the Miramonte. The resort was incredible. It was it’s own little oasis in the middle of the desert with 2 amazing pools, the nicest staff I’ve ever met, lemon and lime trees everywhere, and the freshest, healthiest food….
After MiamiKylee, Payton, and I flew to NYC where Domio put us up in one of their amazing apartments. Honesty amazing is an understatement considering this place would be the shit in a random town in the midwest, let alone NYC. I’m talking 4 stories, rooftop access, multiple patios and fire escapes, 4 bedrooms, too many bathrooms to count, a huge kitchen. Like insane. We were so spoiled….
My first Miami Swim Week and it was a doooozy. Non-stop events for 5 days in a row. I’m talking 9am workouts outside followed by back to back events and meetings all day followed by dinners then shows that start at 10 and 11pm. All in the blistering heat. I feel like I can not complain (even though I do, lol) but just wanted to paint the picture for you all….
A little vacation outfit inspo with River Island. I truly lived in these pants when I was in Miami. I threw them on with everything when I needed pants to leave the hotel room. They’re so high-waisted and perfectly light. Plus if youre petite like me they’re made for us. I linked a bunch of different versions of them. Shop below! XOXO
This was after a dreamyyyy 4 hour beach nap and my favorite Joan’s chinese chicken salad. We had zero service so I was forced to ignore work entirely and I passeeddd out. It was definitely induced by my hangover from a Paris Hilton x Boohoo party from the night before but thats another story.
I have so many new suits from River Island that I wanted to round all of them up in one big post!…
