January marked 2 years in our cute little abode and even though decorating a home is an ever-evolving process and I’m constantly added new little gems, it was time for a refresh. New bedding, rugs, curtains, etc. My go-to store for this has always been Urban Outfitters so it was only appropriate to partner with them for the little face lift. They have the best of literally everything. I’m so obsessed with all the new goods, they brought necessary color, texture, and life to the space….
The true beauty of these warm California winters is being able to wear a mini skirt with a coat. I loooove any juxtaposition like this. Sweater dresses, mini skirts with a turtleneck, dresses and knee-highs, etc. Unfortunately these don’t make sense for a reason when the weathers not on your side. Bless California for letting me be as experimental as my little heart desires. Shop my River Island getup below….
It is clear I’m having a vinyl moment (specifically with River Island goodies) so I couldn’t not get this skirt. Love a statement piece like this that makes the rest of your outfit so easy. I linked several pink vinyl skirts below so check em out. XO
Since I get so many questions about my photo editing I thought I’d share my favorite apps with you all and how I use them! I’ll keep updating that as I find new ones but now I need you guys to tell me your cool faves too. It’s only fair. XOXO
VSCO: This is my go-to. I love the filters (so much so that I pay extra to have access to mine)….
While we were in Big Bear Payton and I shot a lil somethin with Farfetch. They’ve forever been one of my favorite retailers so working with them has been a dream. They truly carry the most unique brands and pieces from the big brands. Also, getting to work with one of my best friends makes this whole blogging thing less “lonely”. Since we are our own brand that means doing a lot of solo stuff….
I wore this little River Island getup on our first day in Big Bear. The sweater is perfectly soft and cozy but still shows a little skin. Perfect for the California cold. Nothing like having a cozy sweater in your closet to throw on with anything. Shop below. XO
My people! You may recall my ode to Nasty Gal I did when they filed for bankruptcy while back and acquired by Boohoo.com I wanted to follow up with the news that since then everything on their site has been 50% off. Literally. It’s insane. So just in case any of you weren’t aware, you’re welcome. Shop my favorites from them below. Keep checking back because I’ll continuously update. XOXO
I did a little project with Farfetch recently on how to style red. Considering red has made a strong entrance into my wardrobe this year it couldn’t be more appropriate. It started with a few accessories and quickly snowballed into becoming one of my go-to colors when picking out any item. Before this year I wasn’t much of a “red gal” but that quickly changed after a pair of cat eye sunnies caught my eye at Portobello Market this summer….
This past weekend Payton, Claire, and I rented a cabin in Big Bear to get away and shoot a bunch of campaigns. It’s always hard shooting winter content in LA so it was a nice way to switch things up with some cold weather and a cute cabin. The first campaign I’m sharing (and one of my favorites) is this Victoria’s Secret one. I partnered with them to style and share how cuteeee their winter pj’s are….
